AP4's Marcus Svedberg a member of G7's Impact Taskforce

News
The Impact Taskforce, created under the UK's G7 presidency, presented at the July meeting who its members are. Marcus Svedberg, investment strategist at AP4 is the only Swedish representative.

In July, the UK Government published the Impact Taskforce a forum focusing on promoting and enabling discussions and recommendations on transparency, integrity and trust in the impact area. That's what IPE News writes.

During the G7 Presidency, the Impact Taskforce has been asked to advise on how to mobilise private sector capital to achieve the UN's sustainable development goals and other commitments in the long run.

Marcus Svedberg is part of the working group on instruments and policies, the purpose of which is to contribute to the Impact investments. In addition to investors, the group also consists of leading profiles from academia, business and the public sector. Other impact taskforce working groups focus, for example, on how impact investment reporting should be done.

The group has had its first meeting and a final report is due to be submitted to the world's G7 governments in December this year.
