We strive for remuneration levels that are in market terms and enable us to attract and retain competent employees.
Our role as asset managers of state pension funds requires that the levels of remuneration to employees and CEOs are reasonable and justifiable. It is important for our long-term success that we succeed in attracting and retaining competent staff and also that the conditions we offer maintain public trust. Overall, remuneration levels shall be in line with market conditions without being salary leading.
We regularly conduct market salary surveys to ensure that our own salary levels and remuneration are marketable, defensible and reasonable. In addition, we also conduct annual salary mapping to ensure that there are no inappropriate pay differences between women and men in the organization.
The AP Funds have also jointly decided on a policy on remuneration terms, employee benefits, representation and business travel.
