Mats Andersson to leave the Fourth AP-Fund

Mats Andersson has today informed the Board that he has decided to leave his position as CEO of AP4 after nearly ten years.

Mats Andersson, CEO AP4, says:

”For almost 30 years I have held various management roles in the financial industry. During the past ten years it has been a privilege, together with all the talented and dedicated employees, to advance the Fourth AP Fund to a position with the highest returns and the most fund capital of the AP Funds. It feels natural at this point to hand the baton to someone else”.

“Now I look forward to new challenges that are not operational, such as László Szombatfalvy’s offer to work more actively with the Global Challenge Foundation, which feels like an engaging continuation to the climate work that we at the Fourth AP Fund have conducted in recent years together with the UN and international pension funds.”

”I will remain in the role of CEO until a replacement is in place, in coordination with the Board”.

Monica Caneman, Chairman of the Fourth AP Fund, commented:

”Mats Andersson has very successfully led the work of the Fourth AP Fund during his 10 years with the fund and the Board regrets that Mats will be leaving. We wish Mats luck with his future endeavors.”
